What?
This website, which is dedicated to the world of timber structures, has just been initiated. It is open to almost all types of buildings, bridges, … - as long as they are related to wood, wood-based materials, or composite constructions utilizing wood.
It should be pointed out that the size of a project does not necessarily determine its importance. Accordingly, buildings will range from small innovative residential houses to superstructures.
The platform will serve:
- as a source to gain useful information for the design of timber structures
- to stimulate the use of wood by showing what has already been build or by presenting creative ideas,
- to provide information about projects, current research, and recent developments EU- and world-wide,
- obtain a database of important companies and architects in the field of timber construction,
